Student Resources

OASIS is the new acronym for the College of Education’s student support offices. It stands for the Office of Advising, Student Success, Internships, and Student Teaching.

OASIS is made up of four individual, free-standing offices that come together to create one cohesive, collaborative student support office. With this new outlook on student services, the College of Education hopes to make the student experience easier and better than ever. This partnership will function as an “oasis” for all COE students to get the academic support they need.

  • Advising Office where our advisors assist you with your progression toward degree completion, preparing for your career in education after DePaul, and much more.
  • The Academic Success Center where students can find tutoring resources, exam prep/writing support, counseling, and much more.
  • The Counseling Department will assist their graduate students in finding help and resources regarding their internships and licensing.
  • The Office of Community Partnerships & Student Internships (CPSI) is a new office dedicated to field experience and student teaching.
All these offices will still maintain their own identity and individuality, they just now work together under the greater umbrella of OASIS and student support.

OASIS Lounge

In addition to the networking of our student services, there is also a new OASIS Lounge that can be found on the first floor of the COE building in Suite 100. This space functions as a spot for students to gather, meet in study groups, do homework, relax between classes, and foster community within the College of Education.
