Stockyard Institute: 25 Years of Art and Radical Pedagogy

From September 9, 2021 through February 13, 2022, the DePaul Art Museum will host a retrospective museum exhibition of Stockyard Institute. The retrospective, entitled Stockyard Institute: 25 Years of Art and Radical Pedagogy, will showcase the Institute’s archival material, installations, radio stations, and other media for the first time.

To accompany the retrospective, a​n exhibition catalogue will be published with contributions by Allison Peters Quinn, J​orge Lucero, Jennifer Gray, Nato Thompson, and others​​​.

Stockyard Institute: 25 Years of Art and Radical Pedagogy is organized by Julie Rodrigues Widholm, Director of the UC Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, with Rachel L.S. Harper, Professional Lecturer for DePaul's Department of Teacher Education. Generous support for this exhibition has been provided by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
