Become a Lift as You Climb Ambassador
DePaul College of Education students and alumni are encouraged to become an important part of our program by applying to become a Lift as You Climb Ambassador. Ambassadors collaborate with community leaders to implement and showcase a project to support social and educational equity (such as the school-to-prison pipeline, undocumented students, homelessness, college access, opportunities in the arts, etc.).

- Prepares future leaders for a changing educational landscape
- Invests in the needs, values, and priorities of under-represented communities
- Provides leadership development and community building
As a LAYC Ambassador, you are expected to...
- Attend a kick-off meeting
- Meet with your team once a week
- Participate in peace circle training
- Present at the LAYC Symposium
