After completing my undergrad degree, I knew I wanted to work as a guidance or career readiness counselor. After a year, my dream came true and I was given the opportunity to work as a college student career and transfer advisor for 3 years. After learning more on the job and from colleagues, I began to envision myself in other roles in the higher education field. I felt that in order to pursue roles in the near future, I needed to go back to school and earn a master’s degree. To my surprise, I found several schools that offered some type of higher education concentration but fell in love with DePaul’s Educational Leadership program. So I would be happy to answer any of your questions pertaining to the DePaul experience and the program!
