The program contains three concentrations: Pre-service Special Education (PSE) or Special Education & Elementary Education (SEE) for candidates seeking an initial Illinois licensure, and Special Education for Teachers (SET) for candidates who already hold a current and valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
