Tyanez Jones

Tyanez Jones is an assistant professor of Exercise Science in the Department of Teacher Education, Kinesiology, and Educational Studies. She joined DePaul University College of Education in the Fall of 2022 from Iowa State University, where she was a post-doctoral researcher for the Nanovaccine Institute/Department of Kinesiology.

Jones's research centers on applied exercise science and Kinesiology education with a targeted interest in health justice and equity. She also evaluates physical activity interventions and perspectives on health factors and disease risk at the intersection of gender and race/ethnicity.
