Field Experience Evaluation for Student Teaching

For each ​program, three courses (one Level I course and two Level II courses) have been designated for field experience evaluations. The instru​ctor will submit the evaluation online through the Field Experience Documentation System (FEDS). Candidates can verify submission of the evaluation by logging on to the FEDS system.

Undergraduates

Early Childhood:
ECE 280 - Internship with Infants and Toddlers
ECE 381 - Preschool Internship
ECE 382 - Primary Grades’ Internship
Note: The grade line up for these ECE internships to serve as the faculty evaluation is: A = Excellent performance during field experience (no concern); B+ and A- = Very good performance during field experience (no concern); B- and B = Good performance for field experience (no concern); C = Average, should improve; D and below = fail.

Elementary:
EE 281 - Introduction to Elementary Practice
EE 324 - Emerging Reading/Language Arts Methods K -3rd
EE 334 - Science Methods

Physical Education:
PE 111 - Motor Development Across the Lifespan
PE 317 - PE & Classroom Management in the Elementary Schools
PE 372 - Curriculum & Instruction in Secondary Schools Methods

Secondary:
SEC 364 - Curriculum & Instruction in Secondary Schools Methods
SEC 371, 372, 373, or 374 - Teaching in the High Schools I
SEC 381, 382, 383, or 385 - Teaching in the High Schools II

World Language Education:
WLE 349 - Standard and Content-Based Methods of Teaching World Languages
WLE 370 - Second & World Language Literacies & Cultures
WLE 375 - History, Policy, & Curriculum Development

Graduates

Elementary:
