Stockyard Institute: 25 Years of Art and Radical Pedagogy

From September 9, 2021 through February 13, 2022, the DePaul Art Museum will host a retrospective museum exhibition of the Stockyard Institute. The retrospective, entitled Stockyard Institute: 25 Years of Art and Radical Pedagogy, will showcase the Institute’s archival material, installations, radio stations, and other media for the first time.

To accompany the retrospective, a​n exhibition catalogue will be published with contributions by Allison Peters Quinn, J​orge Lucero, Jennifer Gray, Nato Thompson, and others​​​.

Stockyard Institute: 25 Years of Art and Radical Pedagogy is organized by Julie Rodrigues Widholm, Director of the UC Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive , with Rachel L.S. Harper, Professional Lecturer for DePaul's Department of Teacher Education. Generous support for this exhibition has been provided by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
