Interactive and engaging. Interesting and inspiring. Valuable and highly relevant. Developed and taught by full-time faculty. This is online learning at DePaul University.

Online courses enable you to complete coursework entirely online, at any time and from any place. But these are not self-study courses. Each requires weekly participation, with its own course materials, assignments and activities.

In COE online courses, you’ll learn through a combination of textbook readings; webpages containing text, audio or video course content; discussion boards for interaction with instructors and other students; library research and written assignments; and online tests and quizzes.

Students in all education graduate programs have the option of taking core courses in Social and Cultural Foundations online. As a student in the following programs, you also can take one or more of your concentration courses online:

In addition, many courses in the Counseling program​ are offered in a hybrid format, meeting alternately online and face-to-face on the Lincoln Park Campus.
