John Taccarino

John Taccarino grew up in Ocean City, New Jersey and attended Marquette University as an undergraduate. He later received his Ph.D. from Northwestern University. Taccarino has been licensed as a clinical psychologist in Illinois for several years and has had a long term relationship with DePaul University in Chicago as a tenured faculty member and former department chair of the Department of Educational Policy Studies and Research in its College of Education. 

Taccarino has edited or authored several widely used personality assessments for such national companies as Western Psychological Services and the Stoelting Company. He is the primary author of the following books: S(Success) Factor, Psychological Roots of Success, The Choices of the Soul, Learning How to Succeed. The Mirror Walk Company in Hong Kong is presently preparing his S-Factor based assessments of success readiness for online publication through its web site.

Taccarino​ has been cited or profiled in such references as Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Science and Medicine, Who’s Who in American Education and Outstanding American Educators. In the area of creative writing, John received an Angel Award for Best Epic/Historical screenplay with his son John Leonard at the 2011 Angel Awards Ceremony in Monaco.
