John Beckenbach

Dr. Beckenbach received his doctorate in Counselor Education from Northern Illinois University in 2002. Dr. Beckenbach has been teaching for over 15 years and a practicing therapist for over 20 years. Working from a post-modern position, his areas of emphasis include social justice, forgiveness and reconciliation processes, and counseling with sexual assault survivors. Dr. Beckenbach currently serves as the director of the Oxford and Scotland Family Counseling Institute and guest editorial reviewer for the British Journal of Guidance and Counseling.
