Anancia Stafford was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She received both her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Lastly she received her Doctorate degree in Counselors Education and Supervision at Governors State University. She has a heavy background in clinical experience and has worked with a diverse set of clients. Her research interests include racial identity, resilience, self-esteem and student wellness, college attrition prevention.
