TEACH Program Admission

​Admission Eligibility

To be eligible to apply to the TEACH program, students must be an undergraduate student at DePaul with a major in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences or the College of Science and Health. In addition, students must have reached junior status with at least 88 completed quarter hours (at least 16 of which must have been completed at DePaul), have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher, and be enrolled in or have completed the TEACH program's prerequisite junior-year experiential learning course, TCH 320.

Application Requirements

A complete application to the TEACH program will include the following materials:

  • Graduate admission application
  • Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended
  • Resume
  • One letter of recommendation  (must be from a faculty member in your major)
  • Personal statement that indicates your reasons for wanting to enter the program and your professional goals

Applicants who have earned a degree outside of the U.S. or who will be considered international students must submit additional materials. Visit our International Students page for more information.

Applicants can upload supplemental application materials, send requests for letters of recommendation, and pay the application fee through our online application system.

Application Deadlines

The TEACH program admits new students in the Summer II session; the deadline to apply is June 15 each year.

Applicants typically receive an admission decision 3-4 weeks after the application deadline.
