DePaul’s College of Education is one of the premier institutions for the study of urban education. The College of Education is founded on the belief that all students can learn and succeed, and this is reflected in our mission: to prepare our students to make a difference in the lives of others. Not only do we believe that all students can learn and succeed, but they are inherently deserving of the opportunity to learn – regardless of socioeconomic status, language fluency, geography, race, ethnicity, age or any other factor. To that end, we have partnered with the Chicago Public School (CPS) to help address a pressing need for qualified teachers who can address the diverse needs of English language learners (EL), bilingual learners and children with disabilities.
