If the irregular hours and night shifts of a hospital work environment are beginning to wear on you, if you are yearning for a schedule that better matches that of your school-age children, or if you are simply looking for more regular hours and work-life balance, the School Nurse Licensure program could be the solution you need. Licensed nurses interested in transferring their skills to a new setting are encouraged to apply for the College of Education program in partnership with DePaul's preeminent School of Nursing.
Designed to be completed in one academic year (9 months), the School Nurse Licensure program coursework is entirely online. In the final quarter of the program, students participate in an eleven-week internship experience supervised by a certified school nurse and supported by DePaul Field Experience and Student Teaching Office.
