D2L is our learning management system for all university courses.
Faculty can post course content, readings, assignments, assessments and
grades in D2L. Students can access course content, communicate with
faculty and classmates, engage in discussions, submit assignments, take
exams and access grades online.
D2L Essentials: Walkt through this self-paced online course designed to
help faculty become familiar with the most commonly used features of
General Support and Documentation: For documentation and videos about how to use D2L, see DePaul's Teaching Commons.
Training Sessions: Training for all College of Education adjunct, part-time and full-time faculty is available from the Center for Educational Technology.
Turn-It-In: To learn more about using Turn-It-In in your D2L course, visit the Teaching Commons.
Digication is our e-portfolio platform that is
used for various purposes. Our students use Digication to build
Integrative Knowledge ePortfolios (IKEs), and our faculty use it to create their own professional portfolios and to manage their work for their annual merit review.

edTPA is an assessment
conducted during the student teaching experience. For this assessment,
teacher candidates are required to create video clips of instruction,
lesson plans, student work samples, analyses of student learning and
teacher candidate reflective commentaries for a learning segment and
submit these components using a Digication electronic portfolio to
Evaluation Systems, an outside agency that is a group of Pearson
