Illinois Professional Teaching Standards (IPTS) Indicators by Program
ISBE revised the IPTS standards in 2013 and now requires that programs assess these standards and indicators. The IPTS standards apply to all Illinois initial licensure programs.
The indicators assigned to each course are listed below by program. Include these indicators in your syllabus and ensure that course content allows you to evaluate each indicator. When evaluating these indicators, please use the rubrics created by the faculty.
