Congratulations!

Congratulations on your acceptance to DePaul University and welcome to the School of Education community. Thank you for making DePaul your graduate school. You were chosen from a pool of qualified applicants to join us as we give you the tools you need to become the educator, administrator or counselor you have always wanted to be.

The Professional Education Unit is committed to preparing Urban Professional Multicultural Educators. The various programs in the School of Education create the foundation for the development of Urban Professional Multicultural Educators by preparing them to examine the implications of difference for schools and society, challenge assumptions, and support diversity. Above all else, the School of Education succeeds because of the faculty, staff and students like you who all share its values, mission and dedication to lifelong learning. I encourage you to become familiar with our mission and conceptual framework. I also suggest that you become active in our several Outreach Programs which extends our urban, multicultural mission.

This web site and its links are intended to provide the information you need. It will also help you to better understand our graduate academic programs and support services. Please use it as a tool to help you get your DePaul log-in and password, pick courses, register and buy books. It also contains important program information that as a new student you will want to know. Again, congratulations and welcome.

Best Wishes,
