College Student Development
Students in the diverse, globally-oriented environment of today's college campuses need the support of committed, knowledgeable student affairs personnel who have a deep understanding of how to assess and promote the growth and development of young adults. Dedicated, principled student affairs personnel interact with college students on a daily basis and make a substantial difference in their lives. The student affairs professional values the co-curricular aspects of student life and creates additional learning opportunities outside the classroom.
Graduates are versatile professionals who are prepared to enter college and university student affairs environments. Career opportunities include working in college admissions, career centers, residential education, athletic advising and advising student government leaders. Graduates may be leaders in developing innovative programs that serve traditional students, multicultural students, international students or students with disabilities.
