Program Description
Our Distinguished Type 75 Certification Program is offered online to meet the demands of busy educators by delivering DePaul's superior instruction and academic standards from the convenience of your home or office. While flexible, this program also reflects the high standards set by DePaul as well as the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) ). We hope to cultivate a community of lifelong learners who are equipped with the skills needed in today's information society.
Residency Requirement:
There is a four day residency requirement during each summer that a student is enrolled in the Online Type 75 program. Students will be required to take classes on campus during the summer to fulfill the mandatory residency requirement.
Technical Requirements
DePaul's innovative technology allows students to fully engage, participate and learn online so that they can develop into successful school administrators. Students must have the following system requirements:

Pentium IV computer running Windows 2000 Professional, XP Home Edition,XP professional or Windows Vista (DePaul no longer supports Windows 98)

Admission Requirements
To be eligible for the Type 75 program, students must have a master's degree, two years of full-time teaching, school service personnel work or other appropriate work experience. Students should hold a valid standard teaching certificate,school service personnel certificate or other appropriate certificate. To apply, submit the following items to the Office of Graduate Admission:
- Completed Graduate School Application
- $40.00 application fee (non-refundable)
- Copy of valid teaching certificate or school service personnel certificate
- One official copy of transcript(s) from all colleges or universities attended
- Two letters of recommendation from professors or supervisors
- Statement of purpose indicating professional development goals and related experience (750 words)
- Resume showing evidence of adequate background for the program
